Therapists treat mental health conditions, while wellness coaches focus on helping clients achieve goals, build healthy habits, and improve overall well-being. A coach supports stress management, decision-making, and burnout prevention by fostering sustainable lifestyle changes.


As a Wellness Coach, I guide individuals through actionable steps to achieve growth and balance. Here's how I can support you:

  • Help You Set and Achieve Goals: Assist in creating realistic, actionable plans and track progress toward success.
  • Offer Guidance and Strategies: Share evidence-based techniques to manage stress, improve well-being, and enhance parenting skills.
  • Encourage Self-Care: Provide tools to prioritize self-care and build balanced routines.
  • Facilitate Emotional Regulation: Teach mindfulness and emotional management practices to foster resilience.
  • Provide Accountability: Regularly check in on your progress, offering support and constructive feedback.


As a Wellness Coach, I provide guidance and support, but there are limits to my role:

  • Medical or Psychological Treatment: I’m not a licensed therapist or medical professional and cannot diagnose or treat conditions.
  • Guarantee Results: Your progress depends on your effort; while I guide and support, results aren’t guaranteed.
  • Make Decisions for You: I provide options and strategies, but the ultimate decisions are yours.
  • Instant Solutions: Growth takes time; I help you develop and test solutions, but quick fixes aren’t realistic.
  • Do the Work for You: Success relies on your active participation and commitment to the process.


Nationally Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC) are governed by the   National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching  As stated on their website:


"Health and wellness coaches work with individuals and groups in a client-centered process to facilitate and empower the client to develop and achieve self-determined goals related to health and wellness. Coaches support clients in mobilizing internal strengths and external resources, and in developing self-management strategies for making sustainable, healthy lifestyle, behavior changes. 

While health and wellness coaches per se do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide psychological therapeutic interventions, they may provide expert guidance in areas in which they hold active, nationally recognized credentials, and may offer resources from nationally recognized authorities such as those referenced in NBHWC’s Content Outline with Resources. 

As partners and facilitators, health and wellness coaches support their clients in achieving health goals and behavioral change based on their clients’ own goals and consistent with treatment plans as prescribed by individual clients’ professional health care providers. Coaches assist clients to use their insight, personal strengths and resources, goal setting, action steps and accountability toward healthy lifestyle change.”


Wellness coaching is for anyone ready to take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more balanced life. You may benefit from coaching if you:

  • A desire to commit to and stick with regular exercise

  • Type II Diabetes or early clinical signs of diabetes
  • Elevated cholesterol
  • High blood pressure
  • A feeling that despite great accomplishments, something in life is missing
  • A life lived in quite desperation


It is important to say that coaching individuals benefits me as well. As we dig deep into what you want most in your life, it is an astonishing privilege for me to witness transformative change. So it must be said, that I am a benefactor of wellness coaching as well…


Wellness coaching requires a commitment to your growth and well-being. This means:

  • Dedicating time to sessions and implementing strategies.
  • Being honest, open, and willing to embrace change.
  • Staying consistent, even on challenging days.


Currently, coaching is not covered by major health insurance providers. However, you may be able to use:

  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA)

Additionally, some employers offer wellness stipends that may apply to coaching services. I can provide documentation to assist in confirming eligibility.


Yes! We strive to connect our community with trusted resources, from free tools to licensed clinicians. Reach out, and we’ll gladly assist with tailored recommendations or referrals. 


Yes! Our beginner-friendly yoga classes are designed for those new to yoga or seeking a gentle introduction to the practice.
